I'm starting to think she doesn't want to come home with one problem after the other...

When cold she starts up fine but then when warm stops firing on 3 cylinders on the off side bank. Dan (@Taylor TVR) swapped one of the coil packs for a spare he had but same issue. He's investigating further to check spark and compression. Anyone had similar or ideas as to what it could be?

What leads do you have?

The leads have been replaced as they found one that had been "repaired" using Duck tape. It's a fairly recent issue as it was fine on long runs before and Rob said it drove very well when he took it down. Wonder if it could be as simple as a bad set of leads...

What leads were fitted though? Some like magnacore cause misfiring problems from time to time.

Could be a lead or injector?

Ah, I see, will ask...

Other work that has been carried out is the 12K service, new aluminium radiator and header tank.

If its not firing on 3 cylinders when warm surely the coil pack breaking down when hot has to be the chief suspect. I think you mentioned 'changed for a spare', that could be unknown even if new.

The new leads are Magnecor KV85. There's a new coil pack on order to rule out if the spare is bad too.

While in there I'd replace both coil packs, not a fan of replacing 1 for the other just to let go soon after.... The Mag leads can be an issue where std leads always work fine for me.

Hope it's sorted soon

Turns out it was bad fuel confused

Guess those cylinders were just a little more susceptible to it.

Anyway, it's all running very well now and just in time for the TiTT run this weekend!

I've had the Magnecor KV85 leads fitted for nearly three years and had no problems with them.
