I went to see Johnny Herberts tour in the Towergate Theatre in Basildon last night (12/9). What a thoroughly enjoyable evening, and was fascinating to listen to his life story, his fight to recover from a terrible accident at Brands Hatch in 1988, and his insight into Formula 1 through the 90's and todays crop of talented drivers.
If you get chance to go and see one of his final shows this year, do go, you'll have a great evening! And I haven't laughed so much in some time. Very funny.

I've been lucky enough to have quite a few conversations with Johnny over the years. Nicer bloke you couldn't wish to meet. Very happy his girls like horse power, not brake horsepower hehe

I went to one a few months ago, totally agree - definitely worth going to.

Ask him what he thinks of Ralf Schumacher biggrin

There was some talk of him and Damon doing a similar tour next year, be even better if they could get a few of the other old boys along!

He did mention Ralf Schumacher! I think a derogatory term I won't repeat on here referring to ones backside was used once or twice!! Lol.
Very funny guy, he seemed to enjoy it too as he always did when he was racing. I would go and see again if he tours again next year.
Loved the Q&A session in the 2nd half.
