Can Am mirrors -- GTR : Question re. positioning/offsets
Discussion
Hi all,
It's close to the time for fitting the door mirrors now - Can Am mirrors on a GTR and I was rather hoping that those who have gone down this route could offer the unenlightened a few guidlines as to positioning and offsets. I've got some default dimensions from the factory which is a good start, I was wondering if along your build adventures, you've got some tips to share.
Many thanks,
DMN

Not done it but you will need to be very careful that you achieve the correct vision from the mirrors. The requirements are quite detailed and can be found in the IVA manual.
Also they must be adjustable from the drivers position so if you have fixed windows then the mirrors will need to be electric.
Make sure they do not protrude outside the line of the car body otherwise they will have to be a spring-back style mirror.
