Hi Guys, does anyone know what Vauxhall steering column is used on a 97 chim??

Cavalier, but with modified lower section by TVR. I'm lead to believe that Chimaera and Griffith columns are different lengths.

Early and late Chimaera`s have different length steering columns . learned the hard way when it was the wrong length.

If you are talking about the lower column then there are at least 3 different lengths.

I've been waiting for a guide o using the Subaru rack. It looked promising on one thread a few months back, but nothing appeared...

Im looking for the upper part that holds the key barrel. The problem I have is the key barrel keeps snapping, in he ignition switch. The only thing I can think of is the Column must be slightly bent
