RMS and Porsche Warranty

I have an extended warranty on my C2s that expires on 10.05.14. At my last service Porsche notified me that there was an RMS oil leak and they wanted to investigate it. They also mentioned the clutch was heavy and that they would replace it at a discounted rate when looking into the RMS leak. When I received the invoice for the clutch the following was stated on the invoice "checked and confirmed there is only a light misting around the rear main area so Porsche will not cover this to be done under warranty until it becomes a heavy drip" It seems to me Porsche have found a known fault but are not prepared to do anything about it. However, if I were to sell the car the price would be lower as the potential buyer would know there could be an issue looming. I know very little about the RMS and only do about 5,000 miles PA ( The car has done 38,000 miles, new engine supplied/fitted by Porsche at 23,000 miles re IMS )How long will it take for the leak to become heavy? Is it dependant on mileage? No doubt after the warranty expires (Cant get it renewed as car will be 10 years old). Any advice on how to deal with this would be most welcome. Thanks.

The clutch was £697.02 inc vat, apparently I only had to pay for parts as labour was free re checking the rms.
I can't help feeling that I didn't need a new clutch and the rms was their way of getting me to pay for one.
Now I am left with an rms issue on my paperwork and I do not know how long it takes for

Sorry, I misread the OP. They actually changed the clutch and didn't do the RMS? That's amazingly sloppy and I think you're feeling above is spot on.I can't help feeling that I didn't need a new clutch and the rms was their way of getting me to pay for one.

Took around 15K miles for my 03 Turbo. Tech spotted RMS leak sign at an oil change. We agreed not bad and he cleaned the area and I drove it 5K miles. Then another oil change and still not too bad. In fact it kind of looked like it had stopped. (The 1st oil change was done with 10K miles on the oil, 5K miles more than I usually drive -- family issues had my lose track of the time/miles.) But the next 5K mile oil change the tech reported the leak was bad enough to change the RMS. The oil had washed the bottom of the engine crankcase clean of cosmoline and there was sign of wet oil. Around $1700 and no clutch job. The clutch was fine even with 110K miles on it.
