GRP inset footholds

Can't find anything on Google - is there any kind of inset foothold/toehold that can be retrofitted to the side of a boat? Ideally would be about 20cm wide x 13cm high with rounded ends. ta!

Hi Jon,
Thanks for the answer but they are awfully ugly! And you'd have to remember to put them up manually after boarding or they'd get ripped off at the next landfall. Inset is the only way.

Thanks Skirk - middle one is almost right but would need to be white and a bit wider - the aperture at 115mm is a tight fit for a size 10 shoe.

Any good boatyard Glass shop should be able to knock you one up to the right colour gelcoat. Laminate one up over an icecream tub or similar.

Shetland have just got back to me and said they can make two for £48 + VAT.

Last time I was there they had a pile of spare ones so I will making sure these are shiny and new!
