Two english pubs near Alencon!

If you are staying that side of town next year, or fancy stopping on your way down, I came across this recently. From what I hear it is worth a visit and the Friday fish and chips are great. Not tried it myself, but will do so when it's better weather.

Seems not to show much at the moment, but check nearer the time - especially for opening hours, or phone ahead to see if a bunch of you can stop off.
