Bored of surfing AT and find PH classifieds a little optimistic price-wise so where does one find interesting sub-thousand pound cars?

I'm thinking about a late model Honda Prelude (pref a 2.2)

Gumtree (be aware that some adverts might be dodgy though)
Ebay, some of the best bargains are cars no one bids on because the auction ends at funny times, are in remote parts of the country e.t.c.

Yeah eBay and also search for damaged repairable too in the searches. Some folk seem to practically give cars away with minor damage which keeps the prices low too.

Some absolute gold out there at the moment, but as usual with the 'Bay buyer beware as there is also a load of ste out there also!
