Never had a problem uploading photos before. Tried posting with photos on Friday but no luck. Is there some kind of issue I am unaware of? Is it just me?

This happened to me once, cured it by turning the router off, waiting 10 seconds then on again.

Hope it's that simple for you!

All fine for me too using the Upload an image button above. Sure you're not over 2mb?

Will give that a try. Very strange indeed.

Tried router reset. That solved a different problem that I suddenly was having selecting multiple photos to be uploaded to a web site I manage. I thought "Aha", since that fixed that particular issue, it must also be the fix for my problem here, but no cigar.

I select the file, Thumbsnap seems to be uploading it (I can watch the % uploaded stat increment), then click the 'close' button, but then there is no HTML in the post body for the photo. No error message, no nothing, just blank except for my message text.

Any ideas? Could this be affecting only non-UK members perhaps?

The description of the upload issue in my post above was based on using Chrome. Using IE, I don't see an upload completion and get an error message that starts "The website cannot" (that's all I see). I assume that is referring to Thumbsnap.

Very perplexing.

Tried twice from here in Canada -- goes through all the motions but no image materializes.

Well, at least it's not just me. Misery does love company.

Can anyone at PH sort this out? Moderators? Thumbsnappers?

I'm also having problems trying to post a photo. Using a MacBook Pro but try as I might I can't get photo to upload. I've got the image size down to 160Kb jpeg but it just comes up blank. Very frustrating confused

ETA using Safari
