14CUX - box

From looking all Griffs appear to have the same 14CUX box AMR2175...... there appear to be many diff numbers, am I right in thinking this is just box shape, and that the plugs/internal workings (excluding chip) are the same......

I am aware that some are plug in play chips, whilst others are soldered in chips..... just thinking ahead if new chip and AFM fail to cure problems.... can't be much left to try

The cases have different fixings, plus its likely that the part number reflects the internal Eprom tune as well. neither are a bother on a TVR, its all plug compatable with the right chip.
