Which Volt Meter ?
Discussion
A friend works at CPC in Preston(part of Premier Farnell) and got me a cheap digital multimeter. It is unbranded but has AC and Dc plus resistance and continuity test, etc. and at about £4 each worth a go - I now have one in the boot of the Griff and one at home. Details at cpc.co.uk and search for their ref IN05650. They also do loads of others ranging in price so worth a look.

Hi, Although you are buying a digital one and others have covered the needs for that, unless you want to spend a little more and get one with a temperature sensor and probe, you may want to buy an analogue one as well, they are very cheap and be very useful in many situations including checking for continuity and where there is a continuous change or pulse in voltage as a gauge is easier to watch.
