My insurance company have insisted upon getting a Tracker fitted to my new car. Looking about on the 'net there seems to be 4 companies providing this service -SmarTrack, Trafficmaster, Cobra and, of course, Tracker. They also seem to provide the facility to see your car on an app that could be quite handy.
Does anyone have experience good or bad with trackers and tracker companies?

Cheers

There was a competition to win some of them a while ago, think there's a load of them sitting in PH towers gathering dust if they haven't stuck them on ebay or something.

I have a 'family fleet' policy and have been pleased with their renewal quotes over the last 4 years. £1500 for a 2009 SLK 350, 2009 mercedes R320 and a 2004 M3. The tracker is their requirement for cars worth over £50k

of course, Tracker.
No idea how good the device was (never needed it) but the company seemed less than useful when it came to trying to get them to update details, realise I no-longer wanted it etc.
