Restaurants in Lincoln

I have a rare night away from the kids with the wife in a couple of weeks so after dropping them off at their grandparents have decided to stay a night in Lincoln. Not been in Lincoln for years so can anyone recommend a decent restaurants? Nothing over the top just want good food at a decent price (proportionate) misses not into spicy food so rules out a curry house really.

Browns Pie Shop was the last proper place I went to and it's been very consistent for me.
Wig and Mitre always seems to get positive reviews but I've not been for years.

If you've not been for years then the Braford might be worth a look. It's got a few of the corporate places along there, Nando's etc. There is the Handmade Burger Co. if you like that kind of thing.

The Bailgate has a few nice little places too. We particularly like Thailand No1.
