Interior car paint and prep
Discussion
I spent the weekend removing the interior and the tar-like sound deadening. I've still got to clean of the glue and excess but I need some help with painting the interior. I'm looking for a hard wearing dull matt type finish but have no idea on the prep I need to do to the surface or what paint I should use.
I have access to an air source and some spray guns, but don't mind using aerosols or even a brush if that's more applicable. Can anybody help?

Yes, you tend to bear the scars of sound deadening removal with a heat gun..
I've always just used regular paint - ie whatever was on the outside using a spray gun. Just prep as you would usually, which as always will determine your success.
The drivers footwell may well wear, but a small sheet of checkerplate ally will sort that.
