Brands tomorrow (18/9) - anyone going?
Discussion
Couldn't get to the GP circuit day, but am up there tomorrow for the Indy Circuit
Never driven Brands so quite looking forward to it - looks like a bit of elevation change which I haven't really experienced before
Woossed out and hired a garage in case it was wet, but forecast looking reasonable... fingers crossed...

I was there in the E36 M3. Great day, weather got better as the day progressed however I feel sorry for the E92 M3 that had an off and the VX220 that had mechanical issues.
Peugeot were there in full force so I got to try the 208 GTI for about 10 laps, not really my cup of tea but quite capable nonetheless.

The Spyder looked great, I had a small chat with you on the day. The vx220 was actually on fire so maybe oil on the diff?
Our M3 evo was strong, kept most cars honest for a fraction of the cost. Some of the cars that were at the event were very impressive including the Dax and obviously the 458.

Hi Gouki,
Good driving in your daytona violet M3 Evo.
You and my mate, in the white M3 Evo, had a good run here.

He bought this '96 M3 Evo track car off me last week, and he drove it to Brands Hatch from my house for his first proper drive in it, and on the circuit. I think he did pretty well with a few pointers from me. The Evo's had a good bit of work to it by the previous owner...stripped out, remapped, carbon airbox, supersprint rear box, amongst others. It didn't give anything on the brabham straight to the grey CSL that was there in the morning, which impressed him.
Enjoy the vid.

I was there in a blue vx220 NA. The black vx220 snapped the hub carrier bolts - it's a known issue with elise/vx220's once you get sticky tyres on them. A new set of (uprated) bolts will have him back on track without too much issue.
It was a good day - the track dried out nicely and the driving standards were good too. I only booked the morning so missed the 458 on track.
Got out for a drive in the peugeot RCZ (diesel) with the instructor and it was good fun - nice for a freebie!
I took some track side footage and left the camera rolling so may have some clips of you guys (in poor quality) here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aibePBdBfHo
