Hi all,

I need to take my pod apart this weekend, only a few months after a factory refurb and the backlight on the LCD keeps flickering on and off. Nice job TVR

Anyhow, since it was done, I'm pretty sure the steering wheel is fouling on the pod, such that the steering seems a tad heavy. Now I think about it, the car may have always done this.

Does anyone know if there any easy way to adjust the steering wheel so there is a bigger gap between it and the pod (maybe a couple of extra millimetres)? Feel free to tell me how hard/easy it will be to remove the pod.

Thanks,
Phil.

The pod is dead easy to get off, it is putting it back that is a bitch

There are a couple of screws on the bottom half of the surround and the top half just lifts off - remember to disconnect the change up lights though, there is a cable plugged on to one of the boards - and remember to refit it afterwards!

The problem with refitting is the top section, it is glued in to the back of the pod and never really sits right, if you find a good solution to this please let me know, I keep having to restick mine

Thanks for the advice, I'll let you know how I get on. I guess with the top section it's just a case of having the bostic to hand.

Phil.
