Talk to me about Kumho Tyres
Discussion
So, I have some totally shocking and downright dangerous in the wet Wanli tyres on my polo.
after driving it around for a week nearly and it raining a fair bit, i fed up with only using less than an inch pulling away and getting wheel spin.
having looked on black circles, they have come up with something with a 'B' rating with grip and at only 38 quid a corner I thought quite a good deal, but I know nothing about car tyres.
these are the tyres in question...

I don't have a Daimler but I do have Kumhos on my old Beemer. They are fine, but a recent puncture on one led to me having to replace two of them as the type I had are no longer manufactured and I can't mix tread patterns on an axle. So don't get an 'old' model Kumho, or anything else for that matter, even on your Daimler.

They're cheap and they grip, but don't expect massive life out of them. I had some which came with an old au pair mobile - a mighty Fiesta 1.25 got through barely worn front tyres in just 10000 miles, which for a low-power, gently driven car wasn't great.
Strange, I've already done 24k on my set (switching front to rear half way through) and I reckon they'll comfortably get to 30k. That's in a front heavy FWD volvo.Gassing Station | General Gassing | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
