Hi - anyone else got this?

For example, you pay 40 a month over two years to cover 2 services. Whats the catch or value of it over me putting 40 quid a way a month for two years to cover servicing?

Dealer has sent me some information with my new car on it.

I've got this on my E63 and was led to believe that the saving is something like 10-20% relative to paying the quoted price at service time. I don't think there's a catch as such.

Just had the 1st service on my C63. It was £299. Not sure on the cost of the 2nd service, but as long as it's less than £660, then it appears cheaper to go without the service package.

I have just had mine serviced, it's first one (Service A) and Mercedes Benz of Teesside charged me the sum
of £224.99. So service B must be really expensive to make the service plan cheaper.

I didn't go for it when I bought my E63 last month. My view is that you negotiate with dealers on service price. If you pay in to a monthly plan then the negotiation is done!

The service plan also covers brake fluid changes etc. Speak to your dealers business manager they may be able to improve on the quoted rates
