Copyright question
Discussion
I don't want to detract from the pics in mag article so i thought i would ask seperately.
How does one go about copyrighting ones images?
Where do you get the copyright from?
Is it expensive?
Do you buy the copyright for the whole year ie 2003-2004 or have to apply for seperate images?
Where is the 'C' thingy on my pc as i can't find it?
Thanks for any advice.

copyright sign © - Keystroke - [ALT] + [0169]
Can't ever get that to work myself, as pressing alt always leaves me up in the menu of whatever app I am in.
So I tend to use Start->Programs->Accessories->System Tools->Character map, and it's about 6 rows down.
Some applications will convert (c) into a copyright sign, Using (c) gives the idea anyway.

right just got in from work. Thanks for the replies guys. I thought there would be some cost involved in getting copright. Some sort of stealth tax for you having an idea ortaking a picture.
I'll give the 'c' a go.......
the pc started screaming at me from behind the tower. I think i'll look it up in characters instead.

As has been said you automatically hold copyrite on photos you've taken, but if you're going to publish them, be it on the 'net or in print remember to put a © line in so that people know who hold the rights to use.
The major negative about this is, whilst legally you hold the copyrite, if someone infringes it you're the one who's going to have to persue it and that will cost you money/solicitor if a couple of strongly worded emails/letters don't work.
