About to order spanking Cayman S - help please !

Hi Porsche People 
In the next couple of weeks I'm going to place an order for a new Cayman S.
Never owned a Porsche but have just split up with the Mrs & have decided to treat myself to a toy that I've wanted for as long as I can remember.
I went into Porsche Sheffield over the weekend & had great test drive (Thanks Paul) ... I basically fell in love ... no, not with Paul ... OMG what a machine.
I'm going to relish the next few weeks playing with the configurator on the website, but thought I'd try & get some help & guidance from you people in the know ...
It's no use trying to talk me out of a new Cayman S ... it wont happen ... it gives me a semi & the 911's don't ... I'm just after peoples thoughts on what they would go for from a spec point of view.
I've set myself a cap of £55k which gives me about 6K to splash on options. (Unless I have very good reason to spend a bit more)
I'm 95% certain I want a manual.
No idea on colour .. I like lots of them ... They look great in bright red & yellow, but I cant help thinking I might want something a bit less flashy ... I don't mind it turning heads ... but I just get the feeling that bright yellow might turn too many heads ... does that make sense?
I think I only like the leather in black?
What size wheels?
I drive fairly hard & am more interested in handling & performance rather than spending money on covering the stuff inside in leather & carbon or spending hundreds on painting the bits of plastic a different colour.
That said, the nav does appeal & I need hands free iPhone functionality.
Do these things need park assist? Front AND back?
Is active suspension worth getting?
Sports Chassis ?
What about this .... Porsche Torque Vectoring (PTV) incl. mechanically locking rear differential?
So, Porsche owners ... which options would you hate to do without & what's a waste of money?
Also ... Is anyone else reading this in the North West & lucky enough to be in a similar position?

if I was ordering a new caymanS it would be manual and have pse,sportchrono,sport suspension and ptv.would like to drive a sport chassis with 20"wheels but might stick with 19s!
just a thought why not pick up a nice secondhand fairly new caymanS or caymanR and save a wad of cash as they are just as good cars and the caymanR is a low volume car so depreciation will be slow

I am waiting on one, but I went a bit berserk with the options (£18k) - my "plan" is to keep this car for 10 years, so thought I may as well throw the book at it?
Colours wise, I also wanted subtle so went agate, but I think the dark metallic blue would look very classy?
You will save a couple of grand over me by going manual, so there is another £8k to shave off to get to your £55k budget.
Go with the 19" Boxster wheels to save over a grand (I went CS painted platinum). Chassis wise there is a lot of money to be saved by not going PASM, PTV or Sport Chrono.
Standard, non electric seats will be a must at your budget and the rest of it is pretty much all frippery - BOSE, PCM/Satnav, folding mirrors, PDLS headlamps etc.
Good luck with the ordering process, you will be a better man than me if you can stop yourself ticking the options :-)
Edit to add: I doubt you will want to go without PSE, but again, that is the thick end of £1,500.

Yes ... every time I use the configurator I seem to hit 60K !! I like the blue, what colour did you order?On the seats ... is it worth upgrading? .. Only me driving it, so I don't need the memory functionality ... the only thing I'd really want is the slightly longer seat because I'm quite tall ... but it's not worth the best part of 2K to get that.
