Viewing the desktop site on my Android tablet, it continually drops out back to the desktop. First time, I can reopen it from my list of recent tasks, but the second time I try to do that, it just takes me to Google.

It seems to be worse on slower loading pages (ones with lots of images), but I suspect it's slow loading adverts that are causing it. It only started to happen when the multiple-back-button issue came up a week or two ago. That;s fixed, but this dropping out thing isn't.

It doesn't matter what browser I use; the issue is still there. It's now at the point that I've stopped using PH on my tablet, other than to occasionally check to see if the problem's been fixed.

I'm finding that my internet crashes on my android phone, but only when using PH. It is getting annoying, however I haven't experienced it yet using my android tablet, although I am using different browsers.

same here on an Asus tablet running Android

it's taken 5 attempts to read this thread and add a reply!

Is there something on the page that crashes the web browser?

Yesterday morning it was bad but OK in the evening, today it's been bad all day

Wifi or 3/4G ?

Can't say I've seen any issues when using it over wifi on my Nexus 7. Only used it a few times over 4G but still not seen any issues.

Using chrome browser, sometimes the browser decides to have a slow day (not responding) but clearing its cache usually sorts it out.

working OK at the moment, it seems worse first thing in the morning.

Definately advert related as I tried an ad blocker this morning and this immediately cured the problem

I'm curious to know which ad you think is causing the issue.

can't tell because the browser crashes before the adverts load properly.

I reckon you've reset some techno widgets because the site is working perfectly now, and i've gone back to the "blue" skin because the text is bigger for my aging eyes.

Same problem here on both my Sony Tablet S and my Galaxy S3 using the standard browser. Page works for a few seconds and will allow me to click on links then freezes the device for 2-3 seconds followed by dropping back to the Android home screen. It's been doing it for a week or two I think.

No ad-blockers or the liek on mine and both are standard Android installs.

A complete pain in the a**e .... mad

I've been getting this aswell. The forum loads properly, but when it tries to load the ads, the site crashes IE.

Well i thought I'd check in one last time to see if the mods had bothered to pay any attention to this thread, and I'm happy to say that they have!

They corrected the typo in my thread title...

But, of course, they seem to have done fk all else. Surprise surprise.
