Is anybody else going to this?

http://www.totalkitcarlive.com/

I'm at Blyton for a (PPC) trackday on Friday and staying over for it on Saturday. I looks like they've got a decent number of exibitors and hopefully most will have demo cars there giving track rides. Should be a good day.

We shall be there with the Derocensored , er better not mention the name or the post will be pulled by the moderators for advertising!

Anyway, we'll be there and we'll be happy to give you a ride in our shiny red 300BHP car.

Looks like a pretty impressive array of track orientated kits will be on show and available for the circuit. If you want to find out how these cars really go then this is an ideal opportunity. The weather is looking promising too. Should be good driving

Have a great weekend everyone, sorry I cannot be with you, I have a car hire job in Croydon. I know there are quite a few MEV's going, very well done to Steve and the team at TKC for putting in the effort and apparently attracting lots of people and manufacturers.

Had a great time spitting flames out the back of the car while taking passengers round. The Phoenix got a lot of attention and I did brisk business in the afternoon with Pax laps. I spent a long time chatting to Jeremy Philips about his new J15 and Vectis as well as him admiring the Phoenix biggrin which made me chuffed to say the least.

My first visit to Blyton and it is a great track for kitcars and I'll probable do some Sprints there next year. There where a large number of manufactures there with some issues during the day.....a few cars where recovered with mechanical issues, 1 Cobra went into the cornfield and Z Cars BEC Elise caught fire. I also caught and passed the AB Sabre twice (which made me happy lol) and almost crashed into the back of the Grinnal (driven by Mr Grinnal) who decided, rather than move over, to brake test me halfway down the straight. Apart from that it was all good, the car ran brilliantly all day and got lots of comments.

Weather was good so great day out.

It was a great day. I volunteered to help Steve on the Fury stand and give a few passenger laps. I might have even converted a CEC guy to the dark side for his next project.

It's a really good format and I think it'll get better and could be the future for kit car shows. It's weather dependent being out door, which could be a problem. I also got the impression some people were reticent to ask for a ride.

Thanks to Jeff for the ride. Brutal power delivery and also interesting comparing the "swings and roundabouts" between high power and lightweight cars back to back... shame you were prevented from taking up the reciprocal offer. (To be fair to AB they were using a customers Sabre and treating it gently after they'd broken a gearbox on their own car)

Well done to the organisers, circuit and exhibitors... and those who came along to make it worthwhile.

I had a really good day. The car went really well and we gave a few passenger rides to people who were interested in building full cars or fitting the body to an existing 7.

There were more people about than I expected though as Adi says they did seem a little slow in coming forward for rides.

Blyton seems the perfect venue track wise with a short technical lap and good layout. Maybe next time the big shed could be used for some static displays and traders?

I look forward to the next one!

Edited to say that the GDT70 is sooooooo nice! Any one need a kidney or 2?

Had a good look but never had the chance to go out in it as we had a queue of people wanting to go out in the Phoenix. I was shocked to find out that some companies where charging £20 for three laps to demo their product ! We, on the RAW stand, where doing it for free.
