My switchplate dashboard is in urgent need of replacement/repair.

local dealer has quoted £190 plus VAT just for this part and then realised he cannot obtain anymore (3 switch panel).

he recomended a place called classical dash who may be able to refurb - bit it sounds as though this takes time etc and i use the car everyday. anybody had their dash replaced and want to sell an older switchplate? - any other recomendations? i don't want the metal-dash - not too keen on the look - but are there any other options?

Is it the veneer that needs replacing or the switches themselves?

Hi,
I know of a very good company called Wedge Automotive in Sheffield. They can refurb the main and switch areas of your dash. The down side is that you have to take or send it to them. The prices are very good indeed.
I have found them to be well cheaper than many other suppliers. They know what they are talking about and don't rip you off!! I have had several things like induction kits and kick plates etc from them. Hope this helps
They have a web site named as above.
