The Church would get my vote - a lovely place to sit and chill with a good pint of Hobson's, was my dad's local for many years!
(Or if it's sunny day and you want to drink by the river, the Charlton's very pleasant, if a little 'officious' in some respects based on an experience we had a couple of months ago!)

As a Ludlovian, I concur with Ultuous. If you want trad boozer then The Church is the place. The owner has a B3 Alpina, fwiw. If Metropolitan Ponce is more your thing, then The Globe will suit admirably. And if you want a black eye or stab wound then The Compasses is always convenient!

Nice to see another Ludlow person on here (though I'm based on the other side of the country now) - it's a lovely place to come home to and binge on fine beer and grub!
