Hey everyone, Im Av, I am new to this site and want to say hello smile

I need some advice! O.K, basically I need a car. I love cars, love power.
But regretfully dont have a lot of cash, but id love some ideas! smile
I would like something cheap, maybe tune it and I will have something that looks lovely
and is quick?
Or maybe I have got my head in the cloulds.
I recently had a golf MK5 R32..
Could not afford to keep it. Had it a year and yeah.. said bye to it on monday frown

If anyone can help, I would really appreciate it.

What exactly are you wanting to tune it for? As in what is your realistic goal? Is it that you just want to mod something, or that you have a performance or HP target in mind?

For £4k I'm sure there are plenty of vehicles either more powerful or faster than even a tuned R32 is.

what in gods name is a stance queen?

And I bought an r 32 because i liked the look, and the exhaust sound.
well yes, but I am only 24, and I was looking at a skyline but the prices for
insurance are insane!!
I have a bhp target, fast car, stable, and looks lovely. A real head turner.
just needed some ideas of what car to get thats all.
smile thanks

Right, so what is your bhp target then rolleyes it's a bit hard to suggest cars that can make this, without knowing what it is.

BTW - when you say bhp target, meaning no offense, but are you just after a 'dyno queen', as in something that can make the numbers on a dyno. Or are you after something that can actually be used all the time, any time with that sort of output?

£4k doesn't leave a lot of scope. Personally I've always had a soft spot for the Lexus Soarers, although there don't seem to be many about at the mo. A year or so back there were quite a few in the classifieds.

Anyhow I'd probably opt for a 4.0 V8, plus a nice exhaust and a couple of bolt on mods. For more power look to spraying 150 shot of nitrous. Fairly sure you should be in the 400-450hp region and with a good looking, rare RWD performance coupe.

The 2.5TT's are nice but even rarer and quite tunable due to being turbo charged.

wow, I like the look of the chaser, seen a few modded ones on google. LOOKS GOOD!

And, well buddy, a v8 is huge, 4.0 is too big for me. I dont want to for out for a major insurance.
I always thought a bit could be done to a integra type r?
Ive heard you can get a lot from it.

A friend at work has a Toyota soarer. It is ok, but not my style.
I really like the shape of the new EVO's.
But obviously there expensive.

Are skyline's really that good? Im guessing they are expensive to tune to reach 350?
Or even, maybe a Nissan 200zx?
A bit of body work, front and rear bumper and a nice wing?
