R400 rough running

Hi all my 2003 R400 runs like an absolute dog until about 4k rpm. This isn't really a problem as I only use it on the track but I was thinking of putting it back on the road for next spring . It would be impossible to drive smoothly unless you are on the gas or on the brakes. As I intend to have an engine refresh this winter does anyone have any suggestions to iron out the lumps. Here's hoping

Hope it gives you some ideas.

New throttle potentiometer and some time to get it tuned spot on 0.43 volts and balanced throttle bodies worked for me in the end.
