Ok Guys, I'm looking for some guidance here. Recently my 2007 Supercharged FFRR has been playing up - electrical wise.
The following has gone wrong in very quick succession so I am sure they are all related...

- Rear View Camera isn't working (although it sporadically does)
- Bluetooth Mic isn't working but otherwise ostensibly it's ok (can pair, can hear, can't speak)
- Left side speakers in car aren't working (Harmon Kardon system)
- Aux unit and radio - can't switch between them when car is on. Well, you can switch but you won't hear anything. I.e. if i'm listening to the radio, and switch to Aux, the aux will be dead. If i turn off the car, lock it, then get back in, Aux will be working again.

So I'm suspicious that there's some loose connection somewhere, where all of these systems converge and that's what's wrong. Took it to a local dealer (Colorado) and they quote me for replacing everything individually for some mammoth fee.

Any ideas?

Yeeessss... I think you need to get hold of a wiring diagram and see if there's anything common (eg Earth) between all those.

Might be an idea to have a look at/ask the question on a LR specific site, this is one of the better ones:
http://www.rangerovers.net/ which has a sub-forum for the L322: http://www.rangerovers.net/rrmkiiiremedies.html

I read on a LR forum that if the lumbar adjustment motor/switch lows out, it can cause the issues the OP mentions hear.

Interesting idea perhaps - can you remember any more than that?

From memory, It was a recognised problem due to some cars being fitted with Lumbar Adjustment motors or switch that were substandard. When this blows, its stops other functions working as they are on the same circuit. I also recall, there is a fuse involved which is located under the drivers seat.

Unfortunately that didn't work - the lumber is working fine.

I did notice that the left hand speakers started working again after I removed the rear entertainment fuse and reseated it yesterday.

This morning however, it was back to being broken.

Perhaps it's the Harmon Kardon amp. Do the BT Mic and the rear view camera pass through the amp perchance?

Check your black boxes inside the boot panniers. The rear windows leak and allow water onto these causing all sorts of symptoms like the ones you describe.
