This was posted last week but it seams to have disappeared. Not sure how I feel about a 350 getting cut up. I think they could have picked a less rare car to butcher.

It started out like this. I've seen this car on here, it has a 4 barrel carb on it:

It now looks like this:

I'm properly pissed off about it to be honest.

The PO of that 350i posted on here for a while, and had bought it as a basis for a kit car.
We all managed to talk him out of it, and he disappeared after apparently selling the car and buying a Scimitar as new donor car.

Now either he was lying, or he's sold the car to someone who's cut it up anyway!

That lower picture incidentally, is the SECOND donor he bought - a bloody Tuscan if I remember correctly!
Hence the 350i was probably needlessly cut up.

It does boil my blood. That car looked to be very tidy, certainly with much better paint and trim than mine - and yet it all ends up in the skip. Tragic.

You're right, I didn't spot that he changed donor half way through. The 350 looked like a good car. I wouldn't mind so much if it was completed but just to cut it up then throw it away is shocking.

I remember the reliant kit guy..They might as well of started off with a wedge chassis for the amount of car they cut from it or rather left on it to stick the new body to!..Its a real shame when wedges get chopped into other monstrosities..It dont look a bad kit but as said surely something else could of been used for a donor..Im all for personalising your P&J but that takes the buiscuit...Cheers..Ziga

second picture is as zig' called it an 'enhancement' so...no wedges were butchered (hopefully) but if they've cut up a Tuscan (or any TVR, for that matter), they should be shot, period.

Eaglion

If you look at the full set of pics, he has totaly butcherd a 350i, in fact some of the pics give a great insight into how a wedge was put together!

Some people may like a TVR being made to look like a Ferrari, how about taking a ferrari body off and putting a TVR body on it, now that would be interesting smile

We where talking about stuff like this at the other nights TVRCC meet, it's fair enough butchering something that's damaged beyond redemption (as he's cut all the wedge body up with would not have mattered) but why bugger up a perfectly good car and then throw it away half way through ?

The GRP guys skills are great but I hope that the 2002 tuscan lump throws a hissy as payback for wreaking two TVR's !
