Mk2 GT3 insurance

I'm contemplating a GT3 and have been wondering what is a reasonable price for a 35 year old, with 9 years ncb, car would be garaged and I'd like the option of track days.

Whilst I'm happy to ring round all the brokers but don't want to pay over the odds! I know it's down to post code etc, but was wondering what ball park figures people are paying and who the best brokers are?

i went with Henderson Taylor in the end following quite a bit of ringing round.
im in a similar bracket to you, 31,4 yrs NCB. Track cover as part of the policy. Anything under £900 was good, but cant remember exact figure.

My Berlingo is 450, but is worth 1/10th of the GT3!

My 996 GT3 cost me £550 to insure for 5k miles pa and 5 UK track days included. Policy was underwritten by Aviva through Henderson Taylor. I don't believe there was any requirement to prove NCB as its not a typical policy. I do remember getting a discount as I was a PCGB member, 10% if I recall.

35 year old, garaged with 5years NCD and track days included. Limited mileage think it is 7500 miles and that is £850 off memory. Insured with Mannings.

Also got agreed value of £43k

Honestly give Mannings a call and save yourself some hassle. My 6.2 GT3 is not garaged, about £800 and year and UNLIMITED trackdays anywhere in Europe (ex NBR) as long as with a ATDO or FAEO accredited company. Seriously good value IMO if you want to get out on track in it, which of course you will.

Really helpful staff to boot.

Not with track cover you won't, so not easy.
Mannings! Unlimited track use. 10%, if I stuff it.
No need to give notice of track timings.
£1000, 8k miles per year, no garage

Doesn't exist so not particularly useful.

I was initially paying £800 pa for an agreed value £60k GT3 RS with unlimited trackdays and comprehensive cover TF at Nürburgring - via Classicline. Initially 34 years old, 9 years NCB. Premium went up 50% after a £25k insurance claim by a named driver.

TF cover was withdrawn mid policy in my third year - so I switched to Manning.

£480 for me, 37, garaged, 8K a year, no track day cover. I never could find a policy that included track days, have to get that separate.

40 years old
18 years no claims (but Mannings only recognise 5 - I suspect that this is an industry norm)

£45k agreed value
Unlimited track days (nurburgring tourist days excluded)

They were really helpful and easy to work with - hopefully I will never need to call on them, but impressed thus far

I'm 37 on my 996 GT3 I pay around £250 with classicline

Premiums do seem to have dropped this year. I've just started getting quotes for the coming year and so far the best I have is £225 fully comp. Aged 41, full NCB, garaged, 5k a year. Doesn't come with any track day cover though.

6GT3 CS: £510 with unlimited track days carrying a 10% ded, 8yr NCB, 33 years old, East Anglia, garaged, 5k miles per annum, European Cover included.
