991 PDK recall

Replacing vent line for PDK

Says 7 hours work time. Anybody had it done? 7 hours sounds like a big job.

Mines juddery when cold, maybe that will sort it?

My pdk is probably one of the best Features of the car.

Honestly I cannot fault it. It really does read my mind.. Never juddery, never hesitant.

It's just perfect. I am curious to see how the GT3 will be better as previews are reporting...

Not heard anything, when was your car built?
Had two PDK software upgrades, once when it went in for the exhaust recall and another when the airbag system failed...

I would agree that the gearshift is a thing of wonder, it makes my paddleshifting look properly amateur...

The car arrived in the U.K. at the end of June apparently. It was registered 2nd September.

I only got the letter on Saturday.

The PDK changes are seamless.

WD44 - PDK unit has to be removed to gain access to a vent pipe which is subsequently modified and then the ECU is reprogrammed; nothing internally affected. Sounds like fun (but I'm twisted!!)

More peopla had this recall? I reveived a phone call this week regarding this. Seems late as you had yours in sept. My car was delivered march13. Not sure of built.

I only found out about it when I booked the car in as the tracker unit had failed. They had it for three days in the end but had said in advance that the recall fix would "take a full day". That was a March 13 car.

I have a March 2013 C4S and have been informed about the PDK vent line recall last year. Have yet to get it done though. I spoke to the OPC and the technicians there doesn't know why it needs to be done though.
