Door Switch

my door micro switch is playing up, does anybody now the rs part number for this (switch on door lock, not mirror button)

intermittant "door open" warning on pod, door not locking and window not going all the way up.

Def the micro switch
most prob a RS part, I will trawl through their catalogue.

I read somewhere on here that they can get out of adjustment and it's an easy job to rectify. Need to have a look at mine sometime too.

It could just be the 3 allen key bolts holding the door catch are loose. Take off the chrome cover and have a look. Or its the little printed circuit board bit inside the door. Or your microswitch!

I had similar problem on my drivers door.

If you remove the metal plate on the door catch area (3 screws on mine) you'll probably find that the switch is loose and if you align it and tighten it up (i also put a small piece of plastic behind it to stop it moving again!) it should be OK.

if it is the switch Maplin (maplin.co.uk) may have them as well as RS (rswww.com)
