It's a very good spec. Spyders are still a bit of an unknown quantity and there seems to be little rhyme or reason as to which ones sell quickly. Given that for the last 12 months there have rarely been more than 10 for sale nationwide at any given time it is still very much a niche product.
Some people like them with heated seats, PCM and PDK, MrDemon likes his with no radio or aircon to save weight. Yours is a good compromise with many desirable features.

Salesman - yeh, I wouldn't buy our car if i where you, the spec is wrong.

It's the right spec, but OPC Salesman don't get this. They're used to speccing cars to the nines. I just bought a white, manual, buckets, Spyder alloys, PSE car privately over a mint, fully prepped, two year warranted OPC car in red with turbo II alloys, leather covered dash and comfy leather heated seats. If I wanted luxury I'd have bought a normal Boxster. The salesman was dumbfounded when I turned his car down. good to see a real Spyder owner :-)even the lightweight spec Spyder is like a limo after a Elise :-)
but it should have the right bits, other wise as you say might as well buy a normal Boxster.
manual, buckets, Spyder alloys, PSE is a given imo for this car some OPC have no idea :-)
