Nice, looking forward to seeing it tomorrow thumbup

I have a 1-2-3 on the go at the moment. I have 3 deals on the go at work and have nominated some of the cash as follows:

Deal 1 drops - buy Shelby Mustang GT350

Deal 2 drops - full race prep

Deal 3 drops - Carrera Panamericana entry for 2014

Come on deals!

The Americana would be awesome - probably more memorable than the Bahamas race week thing.

I still harbour dreams of Peking-London in a DS in a few years.

BMW CS/CSL/CSL Coupes are the subject of my obsession just now, struggling to find a decent one that I can afford so starting to look in the EU and the US now too. I just love the shape of these and I've looked across the spectrum from 2800 CS to a CSL in the last while. No car yet though, at this rate it'll have to spend the money for a Coupe on a new kitchen after all!
If anyone knows of any Coupes at all, can you e-mail me please?

I would like an E-type series 3 coupe with a blown up engine so I could fit a 6 litre from an XJS in. Not easy to find one at a suitably low price though.....

This was one of the 'Driver Parade' cars at the Singapore GP this weekend. MG SA Tickford DHC.
Beautiful thing and massive. Then I had a look at prices on the web ....

Always fancied a Healey 100/6 or 3000. Hopefully in the market for one in the next few weeks with a view to rallying as per my previous post. Fingers crossed!

I'm sick of building cars so next year I'll just be racing. Looking for a truck to camp in or maybe use as a transporter. Austin K8 or Morris J van are high on the list. Finding a decent one is bloody hard.

This may be too modern for some, but the misses has unexpectedly expressed an interest in a Porsche 968 Club Sport even though she is only just learning to drive. But, who am I to argue.....?

I am looking at possibly taking on a 67 Volvo amazon gt which is a project car (on top of the 3 project restorations being carried out at the restorers at the moment). However, I am trying to sell my 66 Amazon, which ideally want to do first lol.

Finishing the Kougar Jaguar in about a month, the Ford F1 hot rod is done, the Europa TC waiting for its engine, Midget nearly done. Gonna flog the lot!
Now, being Esprit-less I am looking at Porsche 964/911 backdates, or a 928, or best of all a NSX. Decisions decisions.
Oh, there's the boat to do as well.....

Missing having a Jag XJ6 SIII. For whatever reason these just seem to suit me down to the ground. Thinking I might buy a really nice 4.2 next year and using it as a daily driver.

My Elan managed to make it from Chesterfield to Leeds - after a number of stoppages on teh hard should.

A weird hot running problem where it would conk out every 8-10 miles or so.

Ordered lots of bushes, 2 weber carb service kits and some electronic ignition to install over the next couple of weeks.

This car has captured my imagination. I'd love to have that tucked away in my garage

IF it's doing that and you're already changing the ignition it might be worth changing the coil as well (but probably best to do things one at a time so that you know you've cured the problem).... sorry if that's a lesson in egg sucking! If the conking out is due to plug fouling try using a hotter plug (e.g. BP6ES rather than BP7ES) as well...
