Agreed I keep looking at the V8V. No where near as fast as a Tiv but IMO one of the best looking cars ever made. They sound epic as well.I might be wrong but I believe the maintenance costs are quite expensive. There are figures being banded around such as 3k for a new clutch

Go to an independant and you are looking around 2k so only a few hundred more than the TVR then, from my investigations it seems the the V8 Vantage is around 15% more for maintenance than the Sag if you shop around so not too silly really.I might be wrong but I believe the maintenance costs are quite expensive. I know, but I think it would be worth the sacrifice, the V12 is one of the all time greats. Talking of V8s though, the 4.7 is a significant step up from the 4.3 and is the car that many say the V8 should have been from day one. Seeking a Vantage out with Bamford Rose goodies is also a good move if possible. Do it 
Servicing is cheaper than a Sag if you use an independant, and they don't break down all the time costing thousands in maintenance every year. In the two years I have had my Aston its cost me nothing unlike the sag which eats clutches, engine mounts, wheel bearings, diff seals etc etc

However, they seem a bit common these days - so many of them about. Personally, I prefer something that is a little unique on the road, but again, it's your money, your choice.
