1.6 TDCi Engine Oil Issues - Affected Years?

I'm looking to possibly get a mk7 Fiesta 1.6 TDCi but have read the horror stories regarding this engine's leaking injectors & badly designed sumps leading to oil sludging & ultimately eating the turbo, bearings & allsorts

Does anyone know if this is still going on or did Ford address this for the mk7 Fiesta?
