Hi guys, been addicted to pistonheads for a good number of years and decided to join the forms in aid of some assistance. I have just bought a new 63 plate BMW 330d M-Sport and while delighted with it in every way man always seeks more poke from the engine which i would imagine has more to offer. I have a list of previously owned Audis including a 2011 S4 all of which ive had remapped and happy with. Ive done the usual google searches and looked at the usual companies and from what i see many discuss sending away the ECU as the F30 has a locked code (I take it BMW have a plan to release a Performance package which may explain the code and of course taking more pennies from customers). Any assistance would be appreciated.

Cheers :-)

Other than that I don't think the car has been out long enough.

Why didn't you buy a faster car in the first place?

Just buy the BMW performance pack. You get a bigger intercooler and a reprogrammed ECU. 286 hp / 600 Nm versus the standard 258 hp / 560 Nm.

Very true.

A bit of back-of-the-fag-packet calculation, based on the figures that Autocar got out of the standard car, suggests that with the performance pack it will probably do 0-100 in just about 13 secs, which is pretty much the same as a Ferrari Daytona or a pretty good 289 Cobra, but without requiring the skill of either in getting them cleanly off the line and making fast gear changes.

Ought to be fast enough for anyone's automatic diesel estate car, I'd have thought.
