Hi new to Pistonheads so forgive me if this topic has been raised before. I am thinking of buying a used car but I am now concerned about this log book loan scam that is going around. How can you cover yourself from this as I have been reading another thread about a possible HPI repossession and its outcomes. I know one option is to use a known dealership and pay the premium but sometimes a great car could be at a private owners.
