You may recall I bought a 1995 Daimler Double Six in May this year.

Well, just bought this:

I just couldn't resist it as I have owned it before! I bought it in early 2006. It was my only car at that time and I kept it until spring 2007 I think.

Although I have enjoyed the X300 I don't find it as pleasurable and comfortable as I did the XJ40. I am also a sucker for cream leather with red piping.

I won't actually be keeping the X300. I won't get my money back as it was a dealer purchase but what the hell ...

It's so easily done! Congrats. smile

At my local Classic Club meet last month, I was explaining to one guy why I'd accidentally bought a pair, and he 'fessed up to having done the same. P1800s in his case.

I won't feel so bad now if I end up keeping both for a while then.

This may become a habit, well doneclap

I started with the V8-r then found the others in decending age order, convincing the Mrs that they were not worth selling!!

Next on the list has to be a V8 Super for you surely?
