Thunder in the Tunnels: anyone form here going?
Discussion
we were behind tony as we left the O2 car park earlier this year, and gee! nevermind when he went through a tunnel. i have decatted mine now and that now makes a lovely noise, read at 110db at goodwood this year.
I thought thunder in the tunnels was one of the best events i've been to all year, apart from a few hoons with regional pistonheaders, but they're a different experience again.

C'mon guys, sign up on the main thread if you haven't already - helps me to make sure that we are catering for the right number of cars and people at both ends. it commits you to nothing, costs you nothing, just helps the organisers.....]
And V8 Yes, the Superdupercharged yellow Ultima will be most welcome......

The Date is definitely Saturday 28th September
The after TiTT experience is definitely Historic and Classic Car Racing at Brands Hatch. Free TVR designated parking, gates open at 0800, racing starts at 0900, we should be there by 1000. Tickets £8 per head if you commit early, £10 a head if bought from Brands before mid-August, £13 if bought on the gate. I can get tickets at £8 if I bulk book, but don't want to waste the difference on postage or get caught with a lot of tickets. I am sure we can sort out something.
The start point has yet to be agreed, but will be somewhere in London at 0600 that day, with food, drink and facilities available, with a view to departing between 0630 and 0645.

From Mays outing. Goto about 4 min in to see the collection of cars at canary wharf, then to 8 min in when in puddle dock. Most of the time these videos cannot really pick up the full range of the exhaust sound, it tends to come across rather tin-y. There are other videos in the last few pages of the TiTT9 thread from pages 34-38 enjoy

The day is next Saturday, 28th September.
Start is at Ace Cafe London (have to say "London" so that nobody is hanging around Ace Cafe Brighton looking furtive in a loud car.....)which is on the A406 North Circular about half a mile north of the Hangar Lane A40 junction on the northbound side. No, it's not that far out - the run in to Marble Arch is 7 miles and takes about 12 minutes.
The car park opens at 0530 for pre-dawn willy waving, pop and bang testing and chat, cafe opens at 0600 for breakfast (they are opening specially for us) and we depart at 0630.
The run will finish in Greenwich/Woolwich at around 0900, and those who want to can then go in convoy to Brands Hatch to enjoy a day's Classic and Historic Racing, with our own dessicated parking area (assuming it's not raining

)No commitment at any time - and you can come along even if you don't sign up. All TVRs and close friends are welcome, we usually have a Lambo or whatever and this year I know we have a TVR owner along in his F430 instead.
The Ultima will be most welcome and frankly it will be well inspected. I did notice the 9 lead dizzy on your photo - what are you running in the back there? The only other Ultima I have got close to was on a Corvette engine with coil packs.
Registering just gives me the info on how many to expect and so be able to tell the venues at the start and finish what to expect.
