Well, there's been a post about what car do the rich drive as their "Snotter",. So at what point does a "snottier" become a cool car?

Depends entirely upon your perspective.

I ran a Leon Cupra as my winter snotter when I was trying to fix a problem I discovered there was a forum for them and they loved them... which shocked me.

You were surprised there are enthusiasts for a performance VAG hatch?

YES - I was surprised that people loved / modified / aspired to own an ugly, dull, FWD shopping car with the cheapest plastic known to man used all over the doors.

I assume they've never heard of an MX5 nor BMW etc

Maybe they wanted something different than a BMW or something quicker than an MX5?

Maybe they thought a Leon was better than either... that's the point of this thread - it's all relative.

I'm sure to some a new M5 is a snotter if their P&J is a Zonda etc
