The Booing of Vettel. Why?
Discussion
So what exactly is it? Is the the Multi 21 incident? Is it that hes a snivelling lying weasel deviod of a backbone?
Or is it just the fans getting bored with how great the Red Bull car is and that Vettel is actually doing a very very good job?
Shouldnt the other drivers and teams be booed for being a bit rubbish?
Thoughts please.

Don't know but it sickening to hear. Other drivers have done far worse the vettel but haven't got anywhere near the level of booing that is currently. The other team haven't done there jobs it's as simple as that it not a magic trick how red bull is so quick and it not like the other teams are small teams, low budgets with rubbish personals quiet the opposite the other top 3 teams spend the same if not more than red bull.
I suspect it is three things, in no particular order, they are:
1) The mutli 21 incident
2) The domination
3) The finger
Whilst they are in no particular order, I suspect number 3 is playing a large part. He try's to come across as the likeable lad, but his insistance on waving his finger smacks of arrogance, and I think it is starting to annoy people.

Rubbish. Celebrating beating the supposedly best drivers and teams in the world smacks of arrogance? No different to a football player celebrating a goal. The way I see it, I reckon Vettel can easily win the fans back over when he wins the WDC with several races to go -
1) gift at least one win to Webber as is often good form of a driver who wins a WDC early, especially if wins where taken away from their team mate in whatever form or other (obviously refers to the multi 21 incident).
2) deliberately qualify at the back of the grid and entertain as much as possible by attempting to charge through from the back, rather than a boring win from the front.
I can't blame him for sticking it on pole and lead to the flag. He's there to win WDC's and there's no surer way to do it.

I'm going to get slaughtered here.
Multi 21
I think SV was right to pass MW even though the team asked him to hold station.
SV is going for a 4th title, he's given his team 3 titles and I think in this instance CH should have supported him in his quest to gain that 4th title. I seem to remember that at the time SV needed the points.
I hope that now SV has such a commanding lead, he will 'gift' MW a win before the season ends.

Doing either of those things - whilst great for spectators - is a bit of a slap in the face to his fellow racing drivers.1) gift at least one win to Webber as is often good form of a driver who wins a WDC early, especially if wins where taken away from their team mate in whatever form or other (obviously refers to the multi 21 incident).

Gifting Webber a win would involve Webber actually getting into 2nd place and within touching distance of Vettel - neither of which he seems capable of doing (car failures notwithstanding). Likewise I'm not so sure Mark would enjoy Vettel giving him a token win.
Lynch-mob mentality
Perhaps its easy to say its unsporting/disgraceful behavior unless you're there caught up in the atmosphere and then it spreads because it appears 'acceptable'.
I seem to remember someone saying Senna got booed.

I think it's all of the above combined. I don't agree with the booing at all, but I don't find myself cheering Vettel on in the same way I did Valentino Rossi when he was winning everything.
But Rossi (arguably) wasn't a great qualifier. Many races he comes from no where and wins. More easier with 4 wheels to sit on pole romp off into the distance (bar NASCAR).RobGT81 said:

Explain? At first, he was all oops, a misunderstanding, I have apologised to webber etc.
A few weeks later, when pressed and pressured in an interview, his gaze hardened - I was faster, I passed him, I won.
He is two faced.
I think it's the finger, or more accurately the way he does it. He really thrusts his finger in a f
k you way. It probably started as a spontaneous gesture, then he took it on as his trade mark. It's a shame. If he had better management (and I don't mean racing management), he could be marketing gold.
I think he could have got away with the Multi-21 incident, but his veil slipped when he made the "I was racing. I won. He lost." comment. Again, better management would have helped.
Red Bull are only interested in him as a racing driver.
He looked quite shocked today and Fernando was smiling in a "I wonder if this will crack him" type way. I think the "the more they boo, the better I know I've done" comment is a front and he really is feeling the lack of love.
He needs a better personal manager.

His handling of the multi 21 incident was very revealing and showed a different personality to his pleasant demeanor in front of the camera.

So he changed his mind after a few weeks of reflection and criticism from the media to a 'fine, sod you all this is why I did it'? At first, he was all oops, a misunderstanding, I have apologised to webber etc.

Drivers have done far worse just as recently and yet not suffered the same opprobrium.

He didn't change his mind. He let his guard down for a moment and showed his true colours.Drivers have done far worse just as recently and yet not suffered the same opprobrium.
If he had integrity, he would have been honest from the start. Then, he would be respected.
