So Mark gets an almighty boll..ing for hitching a ride with Alonso (which I think the fans like to see). This takes him up to 3 Bo...kings in 1 season so he gets a 10 grid place drop.

This is just getting ridiculous no flags, no doughnuts no driver lifts. What the f... is wrong with the officialdom of F1 us the fans love these antics it brings the character of the drivers out.

I should think Webber will be glad to see the back of F1 and go and enjoy racing a very fast prototype flat out without having to worry if he steps on his young team mates toes.

He did not get the reprimand for getting a lift.
He got the reprimand for ignoring a marshal who told him not to enter the track.
I'm sure you'll agree that ignoring a marshal is a big no-no for anyone, let alone a Driver who should know better.
Alonso got his reprimand for stopping on track in a dangerous place, which it was.

Maybe you should check the facts before c ranting?

Do we really need another thread on this?

In any case, look at the CCTV footage. Mark was lucky not to be hit by Nico Rosberg and Lewis Hamilton while he was hitching a ride. He was reprimanded, and that was the only punishment both he and Alonso received.

However, because Mark already had 2 reprimands from earlier in the year, the 10-place grid penalty was automatically applied.
