This is my old one guys but the new one is the same but i dont think its a ford part but the guy in the shop.
Says there all the same in that type fords. for my car???

well B4 the old one failed the gauge was in the middel then stoped working
And now the gauge reads 3/4 way up not in the red but 1/4 just under the red mark...?

is my capri running hot? or have i got the wrong part toops?

Ford coolant temp senders are all colour coded, there is a plastic ring around the middle, you swop like for like. Red for red, black for black ect. Work out what colour yours is buy that one. A wrong colour will give you a false reading as you may have found out.
