911 3.2 oil pressure

Just a quicky, my 911 3.2 oil pressure guage as soon as the key is turned shoots up to maximum. It doesnt move cold or warm. Everything else is normal. Its been running normally too for a while, I figured it was likely a sensor fault.

Is it likely just the oil pressure sender needs replacing?? Does anyne have experience at doing this?? I am broke so need to keep it as cheap as possible.

Oil sensor , common issue, try Euro car parts, plus it's relatively easy DIY

I am in Australia so no good to me, I have found a supplier just want to make sure its the right part I need. I was advised oil pressure sender, is this the same as the oil sensor?? I presume so

if fitting yourself don't forget to use two spanners to counter torque each other.

Id suggest buying a genuine part from your OPC. Too many cheaper pattern parts are inaccurate.
