Over the last 3 days engine temp has risen from 84 to 90.

Should I be concerned as the trend seems to be increasing and i dont want to damage the head.

Took undertray off last night no signs of leakage and checked all pipes for cracks.

Anyone got ideas what this could be?

Common causes are dodgy temp senders and air blocks....
Worth a double check for any signs of HGF just in case.

Yep

Mine (sprt 160 too) runs at 89-90 most of the time. Fairly sure its not HGF (no mayonaise on oil cap - no gunk in coolant etc) - but I do leak coolant, I'm hunting for that one. MAybe an air block too.

Have considered the 82 degree thermostat ( rather then the 89 one?? ) which should bring it down.

No need to fear ( I think ) till you get to 100 ( specially if there is no fan )
