Cannot login via mobile site

The desktop site remembers I'm logged in but the mobile site doesn't and won't allow me to login. Any pointers? Tried clear in cache and data and rebooted but nowt.

Android, by the way.

Have you tried via the members link or just through my stuff? Alternatively, as the mobile site is going at some point, try the mobile beta skin of the main site.

The mobile site will be going away soon. (Sooner than later, I hope)

Because it's a different domain (mobile.pistonheads.com) it stores a different login cookie. As for why you can't log in, I haven't a clue. I would recommend using the mobile beta in desktop view (e.g. - not mobile.pistonheads.com) on your mobile.

Sorry if I'm being dim but I can go to the PH home page mobile beta/desktop but I get directed to the mobile.pistonheads.com site when I click on the forum link. I have set my browser to "request desktop site" too, and the "tick" is still present even as it is presenting the mobile.pistonheads.come site.

That all said, I am now able to login again, so it seems resolved for now.

I agree it's all terribly confusing, which is why I'm very much looking forward to mobile.pistonheads.com going away.

Essentially what I meant was go to www.pistonheads.com/gassing/ directly (e.g. - full site) to bypass the mobile redirect.

The mobile site isn't run by Haymarket. Also it doesn't receive any dev work.

Coincidentally it's broken for me again.

However, acknowledging that the mobile site is going to be dropped, can you advise how I use the mobile skin please?
