Just went on their web site to have a quick look at what they are selling.... It seems the only cars they sell now are two hatchbacks and the 4C super car!! Am I mistaken? Does anyone know if they are planning to bring out a new saloon or estate car?

Any input would be much appreciated

Cheers

Correct..though the pricing of the 4C is hardly a supercar price.

I believe they are working on a RWD platform to compete with BMW.

I think that's pretty good platform sharing - leave a Giulietta by the radiator for a while, then drive it really fast, et voila! A saloon! Thanks, Car Magazine!

smile Owned 2 : A 156 that had new aircon, new exhausts, new ECU and other stuff in the first year ... but lovely car. Then a Brera - heavy, under powered, terrible MPG, < 1 inch above my head with the seat fully down .. but loved it.

Had looked at the 4C .. but perhaps not. Now waiting on a new generation of Alfas providing they do not go bust before then. 100% a heart over head decision.

I wonder why they didnt replace the saloons straight away? The one in the pic doesn't look like the Alfa's of old. Nowhere near sexy enough

Not sure the Guilietta is heart over head, nto totally..comparable with the competition in all the boring stuff, award winning engines, 5 start encap, good economy...the badge and style are a bonus.

Didn't they recently state announce that they have all new models coming, all of which are returning to RWD?

I'm guessing they don't sell with FWD where people tend to prefer the practicality and space of a hatch.
The Mondeo is amde as a saloon and a hatch but I am again guessing the hatch outsells the booted version.
(Nothing like guessing and assumptions...) wink
