Head light out

Just had car serviced, and, when I got it back home, noticed some wires kicking around in the hole just underneath the headlight. Didn't really think much of it (takes more than a few stray wires to worry me!), but have now just noticed that the headlight is completely out!

Any ideas for fixes I can apply in the car park (no tools, no bible, wearing suit...) before doing Coventry to London tonight (especially with these storms approaching....)

yep - call the AA
sorry, but in your described condition you're not in a position to either remove the grill and re-fit or remove the panel in the wheel arch.
alternatively get onto your garage and give 'em a rocket!
