2 seconds is pretty quick, although it doesn't say how many G's they were pulling.

The motors are in-hub. They're actually tiny, perhaps 5-10cm in diameter although together they'll put out 85kw which is about 120hp which means the hp/weight ratio is about 600bhp/ton.

The main thing is getting the traction hence the 4WD and electric motors means almost perfect traction control.

Helps that the sprinkle the track with sugar for more grip.
