Hi all
Has anyone used or have any experience of Lakewell.com for carpets.
Prices seem reasonable and I'm struggling to find a supplier who does
Magnolia.

Reasonable banghead After coming from the classic car world I noticed how they can use the word TVR to inflate the prices ,four more pieces of carpet next to a MG but two and half times more expensive !

Both made in house from the same material.

I went to Bielawski's (Sheffield Trimming Company)and asked them for a price, they wont do TVR's as it is too much pain, he did offer to cut the carpets and show me how to fit but didnt offer a price. I might take him up on it

I did ask one of the well known companies who supply TVR carpets and the first answer was "there is more work to " and when I asked two and a half times more he answered "well it`s a TVR"

meaning we have more money to spend !

Got mine from Central TVR via eBay last year for £210 and fitted them myself. Carpets are not that cheap anymore but they might be worth a call?
Add about £50 for glue/Stanley blades/etc.

Excellent, I was thinking along the same lines, but was also going to ask the same question as Daz above about the fitting of the braid. Can it be done with a sewing machine? Have you got a few pics you could upload?
